Clutch Wire

So this is tricky, and you need the hands and fingers of a child with the strength of an athlete! Also need a torx driver and Phillips screwdriver. And lots of patience.
It’s behind the speedo. There is a thread in tutorials about this but its pics links have died so...
This did take me an hour due to my big oaf like hands!
You need to remove the cowling above the steering wheel base, to do this, first I recommend you use your rake adjustment and move the steering wheel out and up, (relock the rake after or you will be squashing your hands later!
Then turn your wheel so you can see the black stoppers:
Prise them off with your finger nails or something flat like a screwdriver lol then there will be a screw:
Once undone both sides the cowling will lift up and off:
It is however attached to the speedo so it will remain in the way so you smash your fingers on it lol.
Next comes the tricky part of trying to get to the torx screws, I found it easiest with a small torx driver piece and a pair of mole grips as I couldn’t get my hand in and turn the bloody driver around properly
Here they are, they are the top set you can see:
Once eventually undone the clocks will lay flat and you will hopefully if you have the wiring see it taped to the loom!
Great!
Now undo the tape it’s attached with, carefully and it will unravel to around 10 inches or so long:
Now all you have to do is feed this down behind the speedo so it lies near the clutch switch.
Simple! Lol
Re assemble, in reverse, of course.
